There will be a day....

Today Jake and I went on a play date with my sweet friend Shelly, and her little girl Maggie Jane.  It was an open gym where they had tons to do, but Jake being all boy, chose to play with the mass of balls laying around! His daddy would be proud!
Anyway, people have been telling me to listen to the song, "There will be a day" by Jeremy Camp and i had not gotten the chance yet, so this morning while we were in the car I prayed, God please play that song on the radio.  Then the thought came to me to put on the radio station, AIR 1 and what was the second song to come on?!?!  "There will be a day" by Jeremy Camp!! Isn't that awesome? I don't believe that was just a coincidence, God is good and he knows what we need, he is my comfort. I teared up because the thought that one day I will stand face to face with my Heavenly father and he will wipe every tear from my eyes was so completely beautiful and comforting.  And I will get to have an incredible reunion with Preston:) How can that not bring a smile in the midst of a storm?

Here's a youtube video to go along with the song,  the words are comforting and hopeful. Words from the Bible are by far the most impacting....

It was God's way of comforting you in a very real and tangable way! you have been on my mind A LOT this week, Praying for God to reveal His plan for you and your boys. lots of love and a really tight squeeze that last those extra seconds to make it a little awkward! haha, i know im a huge dork!

Dear Sister in Christ,
You do not know me, but my husband's sister went to h.s. with Preston. My husband just forwarded me a link to your blog. Transplanted from TX, we live in Vancouver, Washington. My husband thinks you sound like me, but I admire you for a strenth that you surely possess that far exceeds anything I thought humanly possible. You are amazing, and God is accomplishing wondrous things through you, as He surely did through Preston. My brother always says, "To live is Christ and to die is gain," and he said that to our grandfather as he went to be with our Lord. The song that goes, "Do you not know, have you not heard?.." is one of the songs I loved to sing in Reformed University Fellowship in college. There certainly are a lot of things that you hold dear to your heart, that I do also. My blogspot is www.teamtanneberger.blogspot.com. My e-mail is laureltanneberger@yahoo.com if you would ever like to talk or get together. I have a 2 year old little girl named Wendy Lynn. Whatever God is doing in your life at the time that you read this message, just know that already you've inspired my husband and me, and the impact that our God chooses to have through you may someday take your breath away. God bless you and keep you forever close to Himself! Love, Laurel
