You don't know me but I heard about your story and it moved me. I think God has wonderful things in store for you because you have touched so many people by simply writing down (or typing out) your unfiltered thoughts and raw emotions. When I need strength to deal with the day to day I think of you and your beautiful family. Micah is gorgeous and I only wish I looked half as good as you right after I gave birth.
First, let me congratulate you on your new baby. What a precious gift from the Lord! I was directed to your blog by a friend of mine. I lost my husband on Feb. 7, 2009. I have a four year old and a one year old little boy. My husband was the Married Life Pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX. I went to dinner with my friend last night and was just telling her how I feel so alone in this journey to be so young and a widow. When I began reading your blog, I felt like you had been reading my mail. Thank you for giving those of us that are just beginning this long journey hope. Thank you for being so candid in your thoughts - they are so cathartic for me to read because it amazes me to see that someone else has felt exactly what I am feeling. I will add you and your family to my prayer list as we both travel down this long road without our best friends by our side. May the love of the Lord fill your heart to overflowing! Thank you for being a blessing to me (even though you don't know me!).
I don't know you, but I have been following your blog since January.
I just wanted to congratulate you and your family on the birth of baby Micah! May your life continue to be blessed! May this new baby bring you much joy and happiness! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Yay Tara we are so pumped to see the pics and celebrate the arrival of little Micah! I absolutely love the name. I found that the second baby just seems to grow faster...lol maybe there is just more going on...so be sure to enjoy every little snuggle!!!! :)

You may or may not remember me--we were Briercrest students together before you and Preston left. :) I've been following your blog and thinking of you since the accident, and you inspire me. Congratulations on your little boy! I'm praying for you still.
I "met" you in church in Montana where a video was shown following Preston's death. I accepted the Lord that day. I have not missed a post you have made, Tara. You are such an inspiration to me. I have told that to your mother-in-law too. I am new in walking with the Lord and following your posts have been a learning lesson for me. I can't tell you how often you and your son (now sons) have been in my thoughts. You are a beautiful woman that walks with the Lord and one that Preston is so very proud of. I hope to meet you someday if you are ever in Miles City.
