The Commercial

If you live in the US it is time to get glued to your tv:) because Farmers has come out with a commercial based on "our story" I don't know any details of what channels it's on, but I just know it's nationwide! I think it's pretty awesome. I'm just so so thankful that we can help people realize the VALUE and NECESSITY of having life insurance! Let me know if you see it!!

I actually found it on youtube so here it is!!

I am touched and amazed by the strength that God has given you, and I am praying that He continues to use this commercial to draw more people to Him. Looking forward to getting to "know" you more through your blog. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tara, I just saw the commercial this evening on Fox News while watching a repeat of Hannity. It was around 12:10am ET. I was actually putting some photos in an album, half paying attention to the commercials, but when I heard the words spoken in the Farmers commercial I looked up and saw you. I think it is amazing of you to share your story like that. Life insurance is so important because you just never know, and I think younger adults especially don't think about it.

Anyway, I've been checking up on you for a while now, but I think this is my first comment. Your story really touched me and brought me to tears. It's just the unimaginable. My prayers are with you and the children.
Hi Tara! We've never met, but I've been following your courageous story (I grew up with Claudia and Tyler, and have been praying for all of you in this situation, as is my entire family). Your faith is truly inspiring. And your boys are absolutely precious!

I saw your commercial yesterday morning on our ABC station here in the Seattle area.

Thank you for opening up your heart and sharing your story. You are an inspiration to many!

I saw your commercial on the Food Network in Connecticut. I'd seen your blog (from linking from "Sweet Caroline") and recognized your story as soon as I saw it. (I was actually on the treadmill at the gym when I saw it!)

Blessings to you and your little ones.

I've been seeing the commercial this past week and finally last night put two and two together. When the tragedy happened and I read your blog, I was telling my family about it. It just got to me. So last night when I saw the commercial again I said OMG...and my hubby asked what???? I said thats the gal who's blog I read of her hubby dying, and he remembered me telling him.
It really hits home...I'm so glad you had life insurance. Usually young people don't think they need it.

Hi Tara! I've been reading your blog for many months but have never commented. I am a native Oregonian, but am living in Idaho and just saw your commercial on TV over here. Thanks to you, we are also in the process of getting life insurance with Farmers. You are so strong and your boys are so special to have you!

I shared your story with a friend who lives in Spain with her husband and two little kids. My intent was to show what it's like to have faith in Christ, since you live it out and also have a great way of expressing by words. She watched the longer version on internet, and convinced her husband that they need life insurance. So...it's going outside of US as well. :) I hope they'll come to accept Jesus as their savior as well...

Awesome commercial. I actually work for a competing insurance co but you have renewed my belief that every customer needs to hear about life insurance. You never know when you will need it, or your family will. How wonderful that Preston took such good care of you and your family.
